Could you tell me when I create a Global rule to block something, is the packet gets Dropped or Rejected?

    Hello Gabor Kabacs,

    you are talking about the Sophos Client Firewall, SCF? And I assume you are talking about inbound packets?
    Packets are usually dropped for a simple reason: Consider a rule that blocks connections from a certain address or address range with the intention of "hiding" one or more endpoints. Returning a control message (there's no reject) would reveal the existence of the endpoints.

    May I ask why you want to know, do you have a specific scenario in mind?
