Edit local config - Endpoint 9.5/9.7

Question

Good Morning,

How do we enable local configuration changes to Sophos Endpoint Security 9.5/9.7

Obviously on older versions and AV it was Config\icann.cfg files?

Main issue is trying to change update server(s)

Hello Mike Lovely, thats exactally what I was looking for - Dont know why I didnt think to look there myself to be honest (the AU/Config Folder!) Below is the solution for others reading: You may need to change the other sections in the configuration file depending on if you need to change the proxy address for example. \Program files\Sophos\AutoUpdate\Config\ or \ProgramData\Sophos\AutoUpdate\Config\ depending on OS. Depending on the tab you wish to change a setting on, have a look in the files for: AllowLocalConfig = 0 and change it to  AllowLocalConfig = 1 So for the primary update location, open iconn.cfg in Notepad for example and change: [PPI.WebConfig_Primary] AllowLocalConfig = 0 to: [PPI.WebConfig_Primary] AllowLocalConfig = 1 Thanks again Mike Paul Govier Solve IT Solutions Ltd  :16193
