Sophos Enterprise Console Firewall Port

I can't connect to Sophos Enpoint Security and Control from a remote Enterprise Console unless I disable the firewall on the server. Can someone tell me the port I need to open so I can administrate Sophos remotely?

  • Hi,

There is no one sinle port as the EnterpriseConsole.exe connects to the management service on the management server over DCOM.  That being said:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/154596 might be of use.  Otherwise, I assume conventional RDP, VNC is not possible?

Another possible alternative is the Remote Desktop Services that come with 2008 R2, with that you can publish EnterpriseConsole.exe as an application that you can just connect to over multiple protocols.

    Thanks,

    Jak
