Sophos 4.5 Update Manager..

Hello,

I have recently installed Sophos Enterprise 4.5 on my server. It installed ok. When I try to configure the Update Manager, it keeps timing out with a message of “Sophos Update Manager has not yet registered with the system. Do you want to continue waiting for it?”

I have followed the instructions on the KB Article ID:65025

But it still presents me with the message and won’’’’t let me register the Upgrade Manager.

I noticed behind the message there is no list of update managers like on my other servers..Do I have to nominate one? 

Any ideas?

    I have this problem too, and I uninstall Sophos Enterprise Console more times, but still have a problem.

    Sophos Support have not any appropriate answer... :smileysad:

    Hello,

    Please retry the operation up to 10 times. I have seen when the servers are under load where it can take that many attempts. Alternately, try again later when server load has reduced a bit.
