Windows 7

I have EM Console installed on the company, and sophos antivirus for our win xp machines, currently we are purchasing new machines with windows 7, I tryed to install remotely the sophos antivirus with no success.

reading on the forums around the internet I found out that apparently there is no Sophos Antivirus version for Windows 7, if this is this true, is there anything I can do to protect this new machines?

Hi,
checking the Sophos KB i found the following:

So it looks like Sophos Anti-Virus 7 is not officially sopported on Windows 7 but it seems to be running (KB describes more).
What you can do to get full support is to upgrade to Sophos Endpoint Security and Control Version 9.
