Error message "The device control service failed to stop."???

An error message with Code a0520001 and description "The device control service failed to stop (0x80070005)" is appearing for many of our systems.  A search of the knowledge base link recommends an update of the console's SAVRes.dll file and and upgrade to Sophos Enterprise consolve version 3.1 when available.

Only problem is we are using version 4.0.0.2362.

Does this error indicate a problem we need to be concerned about and are there steps to resolve this error for those systems?

    Hmm ... I assume that the failure to stop the service is logged in the application event log by Sophos. Maybe other events around this time could give you a hint. And, as I've already said, there's always Sophos Support.
