Error message "The device control service failed to stop."???

An error message with Code a0520001 and description "The device control service failed to stop (0x80070005)" is appearing for many of our systems.  A search of the knowledge base link recommends an update of the console's SAVRes.dll file and and upgrade to Sophos Enterprise consolve version 3.1 when available.

Only problem is we are using version 4.0.0.2362.

Does this error indicate a problem we need to be concerned about and are there steps to resolve this error for those systems?

    Christian,

    Thanks for the reply.  No this is not occuring during shutdown.  The only pattern I have seen to date is once it shows up on a system it will occur every day that system is turned on.  Sometimes it occurs once a day and on other machines it will occur twice a day with no discernable pattern.
