Problem Installing Sophos 7.1 on Linux x64

I am having problems installing SOPHOS AV on a Linux x64 system.

Comes up saying "install.sh: 196: ./sav-linux/x86/engine/_/python: not found"

Anybody else encounter this before?

quick note: i ran the command as root and by sudo also. No Luck.
