Failed to install SAVXP: The MSI has failed

Got this happening on a few machine, so unable to install Sophos on them.

We're tried everything on the knowledge base, but no fix yet. We're able to install other MSI files on the machine.

Anyone else been able to solve this ?

    Yeh the one from February was a different one ... that user ended up installing Microsoft Security Essentials instead as we couldn't get Sophos to install.

    I agree with you that it seems to only happen on machines that have been "tampered" with.
