Failed to clean the log

A disturbingly large number of systems with the sophos antivirus client are reporting the same error. "Failed to clean the log, error:4294967295. [0xe0080810]" Searching the knowledgebase returns only the error code list, but give no description or link to detail about this error or how to resolve it. Any suggestions?

Hello Skedaddler,

this message should be about the firewall log (op_data.mdb), a Jet database. And the error number looks like, well, -1 (4294967295 being 0xffffffff). I'd check the Windows event log, firewall logs settings and the op_data.mdb and op_data.ldb files. And pretty far-fetched: something related with MS Access ...
