ESDP architecture thoughts

Hi guys,

We're evaluating ESDP at the moment and just curious as to how others have got their's set up.

We have 6 locations connected via WAN, and atm it's a bit of a pain in terms of checking each office as I have to log into a server in each office to view status, but this was the only way this product allows us to keep downloads local.

Is it possible with ESDP to have a master console that can see the machines in each office, but have each office download updates locally?

Hello Gorlaz,

what are you using right now? Also Sophos or some other product?

If you use child SUMs for your locations and configure them as message relays you can manage clients and update managers from a single server. Search for WAN and child to find previous discussions.
