Enterprise 4 and Protect Computers Greyed Out

I've recently installed Enterprise Console 4 and added all the computers in our primary domain and AV 9 has installed with no problem but computers in a secondary domain in our school, although discoverable, have the 'protect computers' greyed out.

These were previously working in Console 3.

  • Manually installed - that is: not using protect computers? Did you install from the CID?

If it did work with SEC 3 then Protect Computers should also work with SEC 4 (if you have created a new user for accessing the shares, does it have the same rights as the one for SEC 3?). There might be other issues but first make sure RMS is correctly installed on the client. What does the Network Report (Start->Programs->Sophos->SESC->View network communication report) say?
