  • It looks like Windows Installer is installing something else at the same time as Sophos is attempting to be installed.  If you check the event log for Windows installer activity you might find what else is being installed.

    Also I would suggest looking in task manager for msiexec.exe processes performing activity.  If they are, leave it for a few minutes and recheck.  Maybe even restart the machine if you don't mind, and see what happens to the msiexec processes after reboot.  This seems safer than just terminating msiexec processes without understanding the purpose of them and maybe causing further problems.
