Windows Storage Server 2008

As it's my 1st post here - hello everybody!!!

Did anybody install Sophos successfully on Windows Storage Server 2008? I'm trying to do that to test how Sophos is working with DFS Replication but I'm getting following error:

00000067 Failed to install SAVXP: The MSI has failed

I've checked on KB and this problem may occur if  installed service pack is not the latest one (I've Winn 2008 Storage Server SP1)

Is there anything what I can do to install Sophos on mentioned Server?

I'd be glad for advice on that!

    Hi Pawel

    Thanks for your post, typically these errors are due to permissions on the key:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Windows

    If I can please ask you to check permissions in-place and compare against a working system

    If issues persist, please download, install and run Sophos Diagnose Utility on Storage Server 2008 via  http://www.sophos.com/tools/sdu130sfx.exe, create a new case with support via www.sophos.com/support/query - selecting support query, and email zipped logs created by the utility quoting the case reference generated by the system and quoting this thread url.

    We can then dig into this issue a bit further.
