Connection problems to Skype

I think my Sophos Firewall is preventing my connection because when I click on 'allow all traffic' it is fine but obviously this is not a safe option.  Can anyone please advise what I need to do.  Thank you.

  • I use a corporate volume licence and so I believe don't have access to phone support.

Is anyone able to elaborate with a suggestion or fix to this, I'd really appreciate any help.

I've checked the Skype and Sophos forums, and so far have made sure port 443 is open for TCP.

Checking through the firewall log, I can see outgoing Skype connections are being refused reason: 'Modified memory' so have configured the firewall to remove the tick from 'Block processes if memory is modified by another application', but the outgoing connection is still blocked by Sophos.

    Anyone have any ideas?
