I raised this issue with Support who had not seen this issue and felt it wasn't an issue of the Sophos package.
I was just wondering if anyone else has seen anything like this:
I have numerous groups setup under the EC.
Examples being:
Windows-Laptops
Windows-Desktops
Windows-Servers
IT
I originally imported all of our computers from AD.
I'm slowly rolling out "Protection" to each machine and then once the client is installed I drag them from the Global Group to the group I wish them to be in.
This is working 100% fine.
We added half a dozen new machines to our network, our AD knew about them, Sophos didn't.
So I went through the process of updating Sophos via the AD - the recommended way.
This worked, the six new machines all appeared in the Global Group in Sophos EC
However all but two machines had removed themselves from the various Groups I'd created and we back in the Global Group only.
I then had to go back through the Global Group and drag each of the clients back into their correct group.
Has anyone else ever experienced this?
Anyone have any idea what might be happening as Sophos indicate it's probably an issue with our AD infrastructure and not their product.
