Evaluate SOPHOS ESDP 9.5 on virtual environment

Dear All,

I tried to evaluate SOPHOS ESDP 9.5 on virtual environment.

I installed Windows 2008 32-bit on Windows Virtual PC. I downloaded installer from sophos (sec_45_sfx.exe). Installation prerequisite is running well (windows restarted), but when come to installation SOPHOS Enterprise Console 4.5 Wizard I got a problem. I can not continue installation process because I got this wierd thing:

     on READY TO INSTALL phase:

     Space Required on C:\PrimaryVolumePath\ 0KB

     Space Available on C:\PrimaryVolumePath\ 0KB

     And installation button is dimmed.

I alocate 40 GB on my C drive (on virtual PC)

What's wrong with my installation proces? Anyone can help me out?

    After a while, tried to figure it my self... (tried another way to run setup.. setup/debugmsg and select custom installation)...

    I found my silly mistake... ::smileytongue:

    I forgot to start COMPUTER BROWSER services that on Windows 2008 is DISABLED by default.

    Then I installed SQL Express manually...

    Install with custom setup /debugmsg and then select custom install selection... that make setup force to make "Compiling cost for this feature..." make sure that each feature has a number of required space.

    I don't know whether my workaround is just coincidence  or not, but it make my installation successfull on my vpc.
