Sophos AutoUpdate Error -- how do I stop the message from popping up!

The following Sophos AutoUpdate Error keeps popping up at sporadic, random moments:

"Sophos AutoUpdate Error

Could not contact secondary server http://chi.resnet.ucla.edu/sophos/resnet2005/esosx"

This must be from my university days (years ago!!) when Sophos was required in order to access library sites, etc. I do not currently use Sophos, and have tried to uninstall it from my computer, but this persistent message keeps appearing. What can I do to prevent it from popping up again?

I would suggest you contact your old school and request assistance in getting Sophos of f your system. I would think they would be glad to have it off your system as well.:smileywink:
