SEC version 3 to SEC version 4

Hi,

I am currently doing a project right now. Here's the scenario, our client uses SEC version 3 managing around a thousand plus computers and wishes to upgrade it to SEC version 4. I was able to manage around almost 800 machines. Now my problem is some computers are already version 9 but still reporting to SEC version 3, and some machines that are managed by SEC version 4 are using version 7 SAV. Our client is using an AD, I was able to managed some but it will take me so long if I will  use that method (remoting a machine and uninstalling the SAV). Anyone out there who has a better solution than mine? Been doing a simulation here in our office, been gone to google already and already tried reprotecting the computers.

Note: Both SEC version (3 and 4) are up and running. Planning to remove SEC version 3.

Thank you very much.

  • Hi,

Also just a follow up in my post. I just want to clarify, remoting some computers-> I am referring to the remaining computers that are not reporting correctly.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.
