How does one go about modifying the date format within a Report Description?

How do I modify the date format within a report's Report Description? The date is currently displayed in the following format: DD/MM/YYYY and I would like it to be displayed in MM/DD/YYYY.

    Are there any particular files that I may need to edit

    Not that I am aware of. Just checked the behaviour again on WinXP Pro SP3, Server 2008 SP2, Server 2008 R2 and Win7. In all cases SEC (and the report) pick up and use the settings correctly. I've even tried "weird" settings for sDate like MMMM-d/.yy and get something like October-1/.10 (but note that MMMM-d/.yyy - although it can be entered in R&LO - gives an EM Reporter viewer error "Bad date-time format string"). The setting takes effect immediately (i.e. for the next report run) so it's not hard to test.

    The Properties use the format (and language) in effect when SEC was started.

    Now I have to say that I'm on 4.5.0.9 and no longer have 4.0 available. So - please could someone still using SEC4.0 check this?
