SEC 4.5 cannot update

Hi,

Few days ago we've installed SEC 4.5 on Windows Server 2008 x64 which is our domain controller.

Everything was working fine for 2-3 days but now SEC cannot update.

It's status is:

80040404  Threat detection data update failed.    

80040401  Software update failed.                 

80040406  Delivery failed for software subscription 'Recommended'. Access to the source update location is denied or the location is otherwise unavailable.
I was digging around the net for help but everything I tried was useless. I even contacted Sophos Support but still no solution.
Maybe someone can help.

    Hello,

    I did an advanced search but I did not find anything new...I checked these links but still no solution...

    On Friday I protected the Domain Controller (the Server where the SEC 4.5 is installed) and now I even don't get 'Downloading Binaries' status. When I press Update Now, nothing happens.

    I also have to say that I didn't find boost::filesystem in the logs but I have 'failed' messages like:

    The decode of payload A845A8B5-6532-4EF1-B19E-1DB2B3CB73D1 and requested version RECOMMENDED was aborted because the synchronise is marked as

    Event with dispatcher ID 'DispatcherSupplements-2010-11-14T23-05-48-352' failed to execute.

    Cannot create stream C:/ProgramData/Sophos/Update Manager/Update Manager/Warehouse/50916][RECOMMENDED][SOPHOS] Synchronise operation failed when synchronising payload 'F26F7EC0-1302-4DA7-8B6B-A5383051D41A'
    Payload '7D48A012-0C64-4F21-BA27-A9CEDF442749' could not be synchronised because the synchronise operation failed due to an earlier error.
