Updating failed because WindowsCloudClean is missing

New client to Sophos Cloud here. Some workstations are taking the agent fine, others are giving this WindowsCloudClean error. All the posts I see related to this are nearly a year old or more so I am wondering if (A) this continues to be an issue for other users, and (B) what is the fix?

  • This turned out to be a Sophos licensing issue. Some kind of mix up related to the fact that we are migrating from an on-prem Sophos Enterprise Console to Sophos Cloud. Once Sophos Support understood the root issue they were able to resolve the licensing mixup.
