Does Sophos endpoint security support multithreading, (like trend micro and others)

 Endpoint Security does support Multi Threading. Although it is not explicitly published (since it is a basic requirement to ensure efficient performance of our Software), We can assure you that it exercises Multi Threading and can leverage multiple cores of processors to achieve higher efficiency with the same.

Yes it does: 
 It has many threads when run. I would expect that this is a given considering 99% of applications are multithreaded.
