NAC cannot be installed on this OS

Hi everyone,

in our company we use Sophos as antivirus, and now I'm trying to install it on a Windows XP SP3 macchine. The problem is that when i launch the setup, it give me this error: "It's not possible to install the NAC on this OS". Which could be the problem?

In the past we already installed Sophos on machines with XP SP3, but never got this error. Anyone can help me?

Hello Cristian Verbitchi,

the post sounds like it came through a wormhole. NAC, indeed NAC as in Network Access Control (that has been retired way in the past)? And XP is no longer supported.

You launch the setup from where?

Hi Christian, thank for the quick answer.

I'm launching it from a shared folder on another machine. Is it possible to disable temporally the NAC, then enable it back? Or how could I do?

what's in this folder? Does the setup display a window, if so - could you post a screenshot? As said, NACis gone for good so I wonder what it actually is that you are referring to. This another machine has Sophos installed - which version?
