I am moving from Kaspersky to Sophos cloud, can I bring my Dat file for all my exclusions over?

How do I bulk load my exclusions?

what exclusions are being used by default?

  • Hi,

Are the exclusions for servers or endpoints?

The reason I ask that is that Sophos Central will (by default) auto apply exclusions for say SQL Server and Exchange.  You can see these under the Exclusions tab of the server that is running the specific role.

The problem is I don't know how your Kaspersky exclusion list will map to the various Sophos exclusions.  For example:In Sophos there are file/folder/process exclusions, exploit mitigation exclusions, thumbprints, ML authorisations, Potentially Unwanted Application authorisations, Control App authorisations, enable/disableremote files, web site exclusions, web control site lists and there are various wildcards and variables:

Most can be applied globally or applied at a policy level that applies to either specific users or groups.

It may well be the exclusions you had before are no longer required.

I'd be happy to take a look if you have a list in order to help guide you with the conversion.

    Regards,
    Jak
