Automatically scanning removable devices

Sophos enterprise console 5.3.1

Is there a way to automatically scan usb sticks etc when they are inserted into clients? .. 

So far i can only find how to block/enable usb sticks

    Hello steven collet.

    this has been requested as a feature but is not implemented.
    As On-Access should detect any threats when individual files are accessed the benefit of such a function is not clear (especially in the age of 128GB+ sticks).
