We recently purchased Sophos Central and have successfully installed across our users. We were in the process of installing on a group of laptops when the install began failing. Endpoint installs complete and can be seen in the cloud fine, the Web Gateway downloads and installs without issue, but fails when registering. The error we receive is as follows.
Recieved error during pre-registration. Remote host closed connection during handshake]. Please contact Sophos Support.
I have opened a ticket and only gotten a canned response so far, it's early. I am curious if anyone else has seen this problem. It seems like a SSL issue with registration. I searched the KB and Community with no solution found. We did try to complete the install through our wireless, internal LAN, and even a cell hotspot. No joy.
