Resolved: Sophos Central Admin – AD Sync Utility Fails when syncing

**UPDATE 3** The AD Sync Utility issue is now resolved. Please let us know if you are still experiencing issues.

**UPDATE 2** [RESOLVED] Due to high MCS traffic, performance for Sophos Central users in west NA is degraded. This may result in failure to register new endpoints. We are working to restore latency.

Hello,

Customers may currently experience High alert emails for failed AD syncs in the Sophos Central Admin dashboard. Customers may see the following error reported in their AD sync log:

"Failed active directory synchronization. Reason: System.Exception: transactional RenderingContext already established for customer”

Our development team is currently investigating and this thread will be updated with any new information.
