Greetings Web,
We'd like to know if it's possible to whitelist an application while said application, or parts of it, are actually marked as a threat by Sophos?
As a Sophos Partner & Managed Service Provider, Office Information Systems chooses LabTech Control Center for its clients' remote asset management.
Unfortunately, it appears that two (2) files required for LabTech to operate are marked as Threats by Sophos Threat Analysis!
We've had no connectivity problems with LabTech on the Application or Web Control level.
As of today, we have requested that LabTech Control Center be included in Application Control. So I am just throwing this out there in-case we can learn anything. Currently, Sophos Central Application Control does not--to the best of my knowledge--include LabTech or either of the files listed below:
What do you think? Should a file marked as a 'threat' by Sophos even be considered for whitelisting?
