We now have a DLP section in our Central console.
So I setup a new policy assigned to either me or the computer, with everything disabled except DLP and I add Documents/Spreadsheets/Presentations and a target of Email/Storage and I set the action to "Allow if user confirms" and I have that policy as the top policy above the base policy.
I sit back a while and try a file copy to a USB stick on a test client and it is blocked, Sophos doesn't prompt me it just blocks it and Sophos tells me the transfer was blocked.
I create an email and drag an Excel and/or Word document onto it and hit "Send" and it goes, no prompt, warning, nothing.
Nothing appears in the Central console so far as events or logs.
The online help is not.. "expansive" shall we say, can anyone help as it's not obvious where to look for logs/info on the client too see if it's working, what policy is assigned and so on :)
