Hello, does anyone know a timeline on when quarantine digest emails will be available for end users?
Thanks

We’re pleased to announce the upcoming February releases for Sophos Email on Central – Emergency Inbox, and a new Central dashboard and reports.
What’s changing and how you’ll benefit?
The Emergency Inbox: In Sophos Email today, if your cloud email service provider experiences disruption or an outage, Sophos Email safeguards your email, automatically queuing mail until the server comes back online. With the Emergency Inbox, users will have access to those mails in their self-service portal for as long as the outage continues and stay productive.
New dashboard and reports: This update brings a more consistent Central experience with email security status reports presented alongside endpoint, mobile, web and wireless.
We’ll add three reporting views:
When will the updates take place?
These new features will be added in two separate updates; The Emergency Inbox in the first half of February 2017, and new dashboard and reports added in late February. These will automatically apply to all Sophos Email accounts with further information available after the release.
hi there
.... do we get this feature of daily end-user quarantine mail or just another fancy admin reportview ?
Note: Even the first solution I ever used 2006 - former messagelabs (now symantec) - got this feature and most of your "new" reporting features along emergency mailbox.
It just came not to my mind that I should miss this feature in the year 2017 selecting your product. So what is going on ?
As soon as users will miss a mail (even if it no spam at all) they will call the it staff.
We will miss so badly the process of giving them daily end-user quarantine reports at 9 am and 4 pm

Any update on when the Quarantine Digest option will be available and/or released?
Hi Richard,
would you please give us an update regarding the schedule for this feature ? Still waiting.
thank you very much.
Best Regards
That's very good news, however, incredibly frustrating that I didn't see it mentioned anywhere in the new feature releases where it is supposed to be mentioned. I am subscribed to the Blog updates and every single one of these threads where we have been requesting this feature. I have had several customers come needing spam filtering and I went with other providers because this feature was not available.
Ok - thank you very much for this information.
I wonder why this is not worth any information like you usually spread out when we get some new fancy web statistics or slide menu bar within the console.
Well - we must say - bad passed at first sight:
- no language location (ok english is common but where is e.g. the german translation...)
- no schedule for the message digest (it is processed at 5:00 a.m. timezone Berlin) - need this 2 times a workday !
Since we moved from SOPHOS E-Mail Appliance to this solution we are far away from any kind of satisfaction.
We MUST simply admit that SOPHOS Central E-Mail is not comparable to this product in some more aspects:
- number of false positives is a lot higher
- admin console is a joke (3 switches within policy)
Sad - but when there are no "real" improvements soon we will move on to another solution or competitor...
best regards

O.K - just got a mail from richard beckett - feature update. Although I cannot see any schedule settings for quarantine summary in my admin console...
they seem to have that feature... but only one time a day...
Hi BerndWölfel and apalm123
Apologies for the slight delay in making this update available, the feature was added in last week.
A full article is available here: https://community.sophos.com/products/sophos-cloud/b/blog/posts/quarantine-digest-now-available-in-sophos-email-on-central
I appreciate you taking to the time to give your feedback above and I will definitely pass all your feedback on to our Product Management team for future iterations to the feature.
Best regards
Richard
The blog post summarizing the update has been amended to reflect the quarantine summary activation feature live in Sophos Central accounts today.
However, shortly (currently in development) we will be enhancing this feature to allow admins to select time zone, select the days of the week your users will receive a summary email and the time of day the email is sent. This is the screen shot I had posted in my earlier blog - apologies for any confusion.
Best Regards
Richard
