Hello, does anyone know a timeline on when quarantine digest emails will be available for end users?
Thanks

I was originally told by a Sophos rep, prior to purchasing the service, that it was in the plan to be released in October of 2016. Obviously that never happened. I am beginning to feel like I was sold a bill of goods that will never be delivered on. A quarantine email digest is a basic, must have feature, that should be delivered on ASAP and a vague answer of "it should be in the plan for 2017" is very non-committal. I'm assuming you are tied in with Sophos somehow, but perhaps you are not. If that is the case, my apologies. Either it is in the plan or it is not, and Sophos customers deserve to know and they also deserve to know the timeline. Better yet would be an actual target date to have it released and for Sophos to stick to what it says.
Many of us get approval to purchase services such as this based on what Sophos tells us and we then pass that information along to our management. I, for one, told my management that quarantine emails digests were slated to be available in October (2016) and part of the approval to move forward with this was based on that information which never actually happened. It makes me look bad and that in turn makes me inclined to look elsewhere for SaaS based email filtering and endpoint protection.
Those are just my thoughts on the topic.
hi there,
we are in the middle of moving our (SMB - 150 Usr) SEC based on premise endpoint / web / mail to sophos central. We are more than shocked to notice that such a basic feature like quarantine digest is not implemented yet. Switching from on premise Sophos E-Mail Appliance to Sophos Central E-Mail now turns out to become a big mistake. (beside the problem of syncing smtp aliases of our ad users... another big problem)
Needed:
Daily or 2 times a day (customised time settings) quarantine digest with explanation how to register for login to personal end user quarantine and direct delivery option.
Sophos - what are you doing ? Do we have to roll back - really ?
best regards
Bernd
I feel your pain as I described in my previous post. Sophos not only put it in writing that they had this feature scheduled to be delivered last year, but it still says on their website for the email protection service, "They [users] can log in to the portal, or click from the daily quarantine summary to access the quarantine.". It's highly misleading to be saying that on your product/service website and not actually having that feature [daily quarantine summaries] available.
For anyone interested in that, you can see it towards the bottom of the page here: https://www.sophos.com/en-us/products/sophos-email.aspx
Sophos does have a feature request page you can visit and suggest changes to the service. You can find that here: http://ideas.sophos.com/forums/285723-sophos-endpoint
It's frustrating to see them respond to feature requests from that page while still not delivering on the core service features they listed on product launch. I do give them some slack as this service is only around 6 months old, but at some point it starts to become a little ridiculous. We can only hope that they will get the daily quarantine summaries done soon!
