Issue: New endpoint installations are failing to register

Hello,

Customers may be experiencing the following issues with Sophos Central Admin:

  • New endpoint installations may fail to register,
    • Local installer GUI reports “Failed to Register with the Sophos Server”
    • Sophos Endpoint Bootstrap Log reports: “ERROR,There was an unexpected problem with the installation of Sophos Endpoint Security and Control. Details: The MCS endpoint was rejected by the server during registration, the token is invalid.” or “Found errors during installation: 142”
  • 403 errors within Central Dashboard

This impacts customers in North America. Updates will be provided in this thread.
