Changing computer name

What's the best way to label computers something other than their computer name BEFORE you install the product...or quickly/easily after? We support a bunch of POS servers that all have the same computer name so naming them something other than "POSSRV" is essential

I tried that and it didn't work :( But there were enough inconsistencies in the instructions vs what I saw, that I'm not 100% confident I did it right. Other ideas?

It looks like you're putting it under the wrong key. You have it under "Remote Management System".

You need to create a key under Sophos called "Management Communications System"...

32-bit: HKLM\Sophos\Management Communications System\

64-bit: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Sophos\Management Communications System\
Note: If the above key does not exist please create it.

It looks like you're putting it under the wrong key. You have it under "Remote Management System".
