Deployement "full Sophos Cloud installer" with Sophos Cloud user identification

Hi,

How can i deploy a "full sophos cloud installer" that i have created like in the 121318 article with the token or the identification of a user that i have created in sophos cloud before?

Can i put the identification of the user in the the SophosIntall.vbs for exemple? How the user identification work with the email link?

    Hi Frédéric,

    I am not sure I fully understand your question here. You should be able to deploy the full installer and the appropriate user will be detected when they log into the system.

    Please note that when creating the full installer you should use the generic download installer, not the one from the email link.

    You could use the user specific SophosInstall.exe (i.e. the one linked from the deployment email) when creating a full installer.  This would ensure that the device appears under the pre-created user.  

    Of course if you ran it on multiple computers, all of those computers would appear under the one Cloud user the email was sent for.  It's for this reason the generic installer is recommended and typically what most would want.  I.e. run it on multiple computers and let it automatically create the cloud users from the username.
