Scanning in the safe mode

Thanks for reaching out to the Sophos Commuinty Forum. 

If Sophos Endpoint is installed onto your Windows system already, you will only need to adjust the settings in your Threat Protection Policy to ensure that "Enable protection in safe mode" is turned on. More details on this can be found in the link below.

Will I be able to scan against threats in safe mode now? 

I presume that when choosing the boot option, I have to choose safe mode with the network option enabled.

Correct, the scanning features will remain active in Safe Mode with these settings enabled. 

This should apply to both Safe Mode and Safe Mode With Networking.
