Deleting Sophos folder from applications on macOS

Could you elaborate on how the move operation was done? Was this done by dragging/dropping the folder onto the desktop or via Terminal or other means?

on macOS Applications folder, select Sophos folder and move to Bin. Also from Terminal as well
location: /Applications/Sophos

When I try doing this, I am prompted for the Local Admin password before the move operation is allowed.

May I ask if Tamper Protection is also enabled on the device when you are trying to move the folder?  

Yes, with local admin password we are able to move the folder from Applications. generally running application should be blocked to remove from Applications. Other application which is running are through message like " The item "xxx" can't be moved to the Bin because it's open."  But I can move Sophos Endpoint which is running.

Tamper Protection is enabled
