    The log line of note is: 

    Failed step "Validate that HMPA is not pending reboot", rolling back previous steps

    You can find out if there are any pending reboots on a system by checking the following registry key. 
    - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Session Manager\

    I suggest performing a reboot, and checking if the registry key above is cleared. Triggering an update locally once this is done, will install any missing components.

    Alternatively, you can use the Sophos Zap cleanup tool to uninstall and remove any remnants of the Sophos installation so you may start with a fresh install.
