Incomplete uninstall on Mac 13.5.2

Could you let me know where you see the user referenced on your system? Let me know if the product you had deployed was installed originally from Sophos Central/Standalone or if you were using Sophos Home previously. 

Hi, thanks for your help. I meant on the Mac login screen - as well as the main user account, there remained one for Sophos, created when the application was originally installed.

The version installed was Sophos Anti Virus, via the educational establishment in which I used to work. I don't work there any more and need to uninstall it, as threat updates are no longer accessible (Cannot access the primary server). At first I thought this had not worked, but discovered some differences in entires between those listed here and those on my Mac install. Once I removed those, it has disappeared.
