We are seeing the following message on our Sophos Management Server:
We retired Sophos Enterprise Console on July 20, 2023. All your endpoints and servers will stop getting updates soon. You should migrate to Sophos Central as soon as possible.

Are the agents still getting virus definition updates?

The suggested upgrade path is to move to Sophos Central Intercept X Advanced. You can find more information on this, as well as information on the Central Migration tool, in the following articles.
- End of Life for Sophos Endpoint and Server Protection Managed on Premises and Standalone
- Sophos Migration Center
If the updating credentials you have present on your SEC Server have now expired, then virus definition updates will stop. You can check if the virus definition files are continuing to update by checking the following directory. The files ending in ".ide" will correspond to virus definition files.
- C:\Program Files (x86)\Sophos\Sophos Anti-Virus\
You can also find a local Sophos reseller on the following page.
