Exchange Server 2019 Sophos Exceptions Template

Hello,

We are planning to install Sophos on an updated Exchange server and I'm wanting to know if Sophos has a template to follow to allow the required ports/exceptions for exchange servers? Is there a template offered by Sophos that can be used for Exchange Server 2019?

Please, point me in the right direction.

Thank you.

We have an automatic exclusion added for the said 3rd part product. If Exchange 2019 is installed already on the OS, the Sophos agent's install process will automatically add the exclusions.  If you install our agent first, then Exchange 2019, a simple restart will trigger the automatic exclusions to be added. You may refer to this KB article for a more detailed explanation.

After these automatic exclusions were added, none of the processes per Microsoft's documentation were added to be excluded. Some file type exclusions were automatically added that aren't on Microsoft's documentation for Exchange Server 2016/2019 - .js .000 .001 .002 .ci .dir .wid .xml .idx .tmp .bak .wmk .fsm .grxm .wav (looks like it is exclusions for Exchange Server 2010). Why is that the case for both issues? Any help or guidance would be appreciated.
