Hi,
Quick question with regards to scheduled scans.
Each time a scan is run does it do a full scan each time or is the previous scan cached so it only scans changes?
Thanks,
Lee.

Hi Lee,
A full system scan will do just that, scan the full system. With the current behaviour, previous scan data is not cached and used to speed up scanning.
Corrected in the reply below
Thanks, so are you saying it does a full scan each time and therefore doesn't cache the previous scan?
Just checking because i'm getting conflicting info.
My apologies Lee. It looks like I was mistaken in my original reply.
There is a cache of file hashes. When the scan takes place, files will be skipped if the file hashes observed remain the same between scans.
Every file will be touched to check for the file hash, but some will be skipped if they have not changed.
