Determining The Impact Endpoint Protection Has On An Application

I suggest starting with the basic troubleshooting kba. If you find that a specific scanning feature causes more performance issues than others, exclusions can be made for that component so that there is less scanning overhead. 

One recent change that may help, is the addition of Cryptoguard scanning exclusions on macOS systems. This change will gradually be rolled out to customers over the next month.  You may want to enroll a test device into the Early Access Program for macOS Endpoints to test this.

Perfect, this is what I told the customer to do initially so glad I'm on the same lines.  Thanks for the update about Mac OS as well.  I'll approach that if it turns out our endpoint seems to be the issue.
