bridge mode disables wifi, even tho ethernet not connected

Let me know if you continue to experience issues after enabling Media Sense.

sorry for the really long late reply, my bad,

its def not a 3G modem, its appears under "network adapters" as wireless so thats not the problem

and i did check "dhcp media sense" again under cmd and its "enabled" so i dont know why its always doing this to one users laptop

Do you find that the results are any different if you do not use an ethernet cable at all and instead connect immediately to wifi, or does the issue only occur when switching from one connection to another? 

it happens when he disconnects off his dock (dock is hard wired/ethernet) and then wifi should then be enabled but it always stays disabled

i will ask him to only use wifi to see if it still happens and get back to you
