How to scan shared files through a chat embedded in a web page?

hello I need your help

I want to know how to scan shared files through a chat embedded in a web page? I mean, if a user shared a malicious file with me over chat, I want Sophos to detect it during the transfer and not until it's executed.

Can this be protected with XDR?

which version of XG software are you running?

I don't think you can because you require scanning and decrypt to be enabled which blocks most chat functions.

Are you using our Central Endpoint product as well as the XG?

If yes, then the endpoint will scan on write to disk. So, it should be captured then.

Are you wanting the item being caught explicitly at the perimeter? Or just before execution?
