One of your moderators recommended that I remove Sophos Endpoint Security and replace it with Sophos Home. Can someone recommend a firewall; or is that unnecessary? Besides the old Sophos, I replaced Spywareblaster with Spybot. Thank you. I just want to keep everything compatible as long as I have to run Windows 7.

Though your endpoint setup may not work as Sophos endpoint isn’t suitable to work along with other 3rd party security software and may cause the program not to function properly.
It looks like Sophos Home does not have a dedicated Firewall component, however, the Network Threat Protection and Web Control components will help protect you against any network-based threats.
The Windows Firewall with Advanced Security can be used for a more specific configuration of firewall settings. If you'd like to take things a step further, we do also offer free installations of virtual "Sophos Firewall Home Edition." This would require you to have a dedicated physical device that will act as an XG Firewall.
Whether you need a firewall or not will come down to your home security preferences and what sort of browsing/hosting you do on your home network. If you choose to install a software firewall product, ensure there are no overlapping features with that of Sophos Home to avoid any unexpected issues.
Starting in February, the Sophos Central endpoint will implement HTTPS decryption (similar to that of a firewall), which I expect will make its way into the Sophos Home product in the following months. Protection against network-based threats will only get better as time goes on.
