Block windows 11 update

Hi Sampre,

Are you having any issues doing windows update on your windows 11 machine? as by default, sophos endpoint shouldn't block windows update.

I want to block windows 11 update on user computer. In past i have managed to add policy for Big sur upgrade OS.

Not sure Windows 11 can be blocked.

In the latest Application Control update, the "Windows11InstallationAssistant" will be included. 

This won’t go into effect until February 1st. If you'd like to block this as soon as it's released, you can choose to block the application "Type" of "Software Updater" along with selecting "[Block] New applications added to this category by Sophos". These steps will add the rule as soon as it goes live. 

If you have other applications within the section "Software Updater" for Application Control, I recommend waiting until February 1st to add this configuration.

i am not able to see that windows 11 has been blocked using the policy. Is it officially released on 01/02/2022 ?
