We currently use SOPHOS Intercept X Endpoint and Intercept X Server managed via the SOPHOS Central portal. Our development team has requested the ability to programmatically submit files for AV scan and receive results immediately to provide to an application user using API calls. Our SOPHOS for Virtualization Security VMs currently scan all incoming files destined for a protected VMware VM. However, I don't see any option to use an API call to allow an internally developed application to submit one or more files for AV scan and to query SOPHOS for a status or result that can be passed back to an application user. Does SOPHOS provide a service or product that provides an application API that can be utilized by developers to enable an application to call AV scans and return status codes or messages that indicate the clean or infected result of the scan and also log all API scan calls and status over a period of time? Please provide the product or service that can provide these features and also provide URL links to allow me to read more about how to implement this feature. I know SAVDI is EoS and also that Intellix is one solution that provides this feature. Is there any other SOPHOS product that offers this feature or is there only Intellix?
