Data Lake in which Datacenter Region will it be stored?

From a privacy perspective, I need to know where the data uploaded to the Sophos Data Lake will be stored.

We're in the Germany (FRA) region with Sophos Central and that's where the data should be. Could'nt find this information by using search in SC help, support.sophos.com and google. Probably just using the wrong trigger words.

Can I get some official document or note from Sophos about that here, please?

    Thank you for reaching out, this is a great question. 

    Generally speaking, the data lake will be stored in the same back-end environment as your Sophos Central infrastructure. However, depending on the type of environment you have (Sophos Central Enterprise Dashboard/ Sophos Central Partner) this could mean that the data storage is distributed amongst a number of servers and regions.

    "Each Sophos Central account is hosted in a named region – users choose their preferred region when creating their account. All customer data is locked to the chosen region and cannot be transferred across regions. Within each region we employ replication across multiple data centers (availability zones) to provide seamless failover in the event of infrastructure-level failures."
