Offline Updates

Hi Everyone,

Posting this here as my account is still unable to access the Support Portal to create a ticket - poor show, Sophos!

We've got machine running Sophos Endpoint Intercept X. This machine is isolated, with no network connections in/out.

We'd like to update the local AV with the most up-to-date definitions etc. Are there any form of offline updates, or is our best best to reinstall the AV?

    Thank you for reaching us and apology for hearing this, by any chance have you reach to our customer care team via chat or call to help you assist with your support portal issue? 

    For your machine which is currently Isolated, May we know what components are currently showing missing/not running on the system once we identify this we can start the troubleshooting of the issue and make the system back to a healthy state and revert the Isolation on the system. For Offline updates, this feature isn’t available in our endpoint product.

    It's not so much that any component is noticeably out of date, or that there is an issue to troubleshoot, but as it's not connected to any network we're conscious the definitions etc. are no longer in date as there's been no connection back to Central for it to update.

    Rather than reinstalling the AV entirely, we were considering the option of an offline update pack which can be quickly applied with little interruption to the system. I think your closing sentence however has answered my question - thank you.
